OK, when… how…. I want to know why I didn’t know about this before now!!

P.B. Loco — “The Adult Peanut Butter”

Yes, it’s true. They have hacked into one of our childhood favorites and made it worse for us than it might already be. P.B. Loco is a manufacturer and distributor of specialty gourmet peanut butters. In addition to that, they have several locations around the country called “Peanutbutterlicious Cafes”, where PB lovers can go and enjoy their yum-o creations in the form of horrible, horrible sandwiches, wraps, freezes, and more. Take this for example:

On their website, they offer recipes and the ability to purchase their peanut butters, as well as some other helpful (awful) info including the Menu at their “restaurant” and a map of locations and such.

And all I have to ask is WHY? Loco = Cr@zy, maybe there’s a connection…

THREADLESS: Nude No More

How about this is the coolest T-shirt site ever? They have tons of unique and original designs - all as the result of creativity from the average Joe. The catch here: they allow registered users to submit their own artwork to their gallery of designs, which is actually a huge contest to win $2000. Other users can "score" the designs, as well as order their own shirt - $15 for guys and $17 for girls - all sizes.

This unique idea is the result of the collaboration of "the two Threadless Jakes" - Jake Nickell and Jacob DeHart, after Jake Nickell won the NMUF London T-Shirt Competition. They are offering a bundle of prizes for the best designs each week, including $1500 cash, a $200 12 Club Membership, and $300 in gift certificates for "Threadless" to purchase some of your shirts.

We look at the top 300 designs every couple of weeks and pick out around 10 designs that we want to print based off of the designs score, comments, and the number of i'd buy it's. Ultimately the decision of which shirts get printed are left up to us. The scoring system helps give us a general idea of which designs our customers want.

They have Photoshop and Flash Templates available on their site to help guide you through the design process - then the sky's the limit! Submit your shirt design and promote it for 7 days to see if you can get into the top 300 and get the two Jakes' attention! You can submit as many designs as you like! They also have a gallery of photos of people wearing their shirts and a challenge section with mini-prizes and stuff called "Loves Threadless" to help keep you inspired for new shirt designs!

Cr@zy Clothes - Switched Clothing

Being the clothes-horse that I am, (my clothes take up 2 closets in our house - a walk in and a regular), I regularly surf the Internet for deals on clothes. I also like clothes I can't just go anywhere and buy; I like my style to be unique to me and expressive of my tastes and personality.

Tonight, I found Switched Clothing's website through an ad that was displayed on another site, advertising tees starting at $8. That’s pretty cheap for a cute T-shirt, so I took a gander. Have a look for yourself:

All of the shirts I clicked on were actually $18 / each, but that could have been my misread (or an expired ad.) Still cute though! About the same price as I would end up paying at a high-end trendy store at the mall. I really like the “Topsy Turvy” shirt. They also offer a line of unique handbags made from recycled materials, and there is a promise of Underwear for the future. Underwear? Another of those things I just can’t get enough of, as long as they’re cute and COMFY!!! (The sight of a thong makes my buttcrack start to chap!)

And if that isn’t enough for you, how about some incentive to shop with them? They offer a reward points system to use toward merchandise and future drawings and giveaways. You can get a free T-shirt when you accumulate 10,000 points. If you sign up for an account with them, you automatically get 1,000 points, and if you make a purchase or refer a friend, you get 1,000 points too. Let me restate that: each item you purchase gets you 1,000 points. So it’s basically like Buy-9–Get-1–Free, or if you have 9 friends that like cool clothes too, you can refer them and get a shirt just for spreading the word around. Pretty cool, huh?
