a little late for V-day but nonetheless...

the altered mailbox.

it sat on my desk for a week, with blue paint and black polka dots i did with the Heidi Swapp mask -- which did NOT turn out the way i wanted. :P so i found the MM paper instead and covered, then added the embellies and such. perfect timing getting the Shabby Rock Star kit from SIS in my box-o-goodies this week... those mailbox letters were exactly what i wanted!

TFL... Glad to finally have this one off my desk!!

finally.

this has been sitting on my desk for a MONTH. i liked it then i didnt, then i liked the pic, then i didn't, then i pulled the Prima paper off and it ripped the other paper so i had to put it back on and ended up going w/ this.

it was not scan worthy so sorry for the ugly picture.

i'm pretty sure i will like this one eventually but for right now i'm just glad it's over with....

i was inspired to do this by 3 things: #1 - the brand-new package of AC Buttons in Dandelion that have been on my desk since May; #2 - my desire to get away from the pink/blue/green color combo; and C) - the little weather popup in my Firefox that told me the weather was 2 degrees and snowing in my hometown :D

figured we could ALL use a little sunshine...

Project: Valentines

my stepdaughter's Valentine's Day box & cards... inspired by me; worked on be Courtney, Daddy & me!! it was a family project! :D

i was inspired by a LO in last month's Scrapbooks Etc. to do these cards -- she loves kitties so heart shaped kitties were a big hit! they have heart-shaped suckers stuck to the backs of them (her idea). as far as the box goes, she WANTED to build a house out of painted popsicle sticks but my creativity conscience was telling me not to do it, so thank goodness we found the foam house kit! and all turned out well :D

thanks for looking, lots of fun, and this will make a cute deco for her bedroom when it's all said and done!!

i made this for him to hang up in his room. i am going to attach yarn to the back of it so he can hang it on a tack. it will definitely stand out in his little montage he has going on. and hopefully it will be a reminder to him every day that i love him so much!!

the border is hand drawn, i did it while i was on the phone w/ him earlier tonight :D
